Leyland Campbell

Leyland Campbell has spent much of his life around boats, fishing and the water and has a strong personal and professional connection to WA’s boating community.

As Operations Manager at Recfishwest, Leyland has more than a decade of experience working with recreational fishers, boating organisations, government and industry across Western Australia. His work has given him a strong appreciation of the importance of safe, affordable and accessible boating, as well as the infrastructure and facilities that support it.

A keen fisher and boater himself, Leyland enjoys getting out on the water whenever he can. He brings to the Boating WA Board both professional experience and the perspective of someone who understands the opportunities, frustrations and everyday issues that matter to WA boat owners.
